Preventing Burnout: Real Solutions for Retaining Your Most Valuable Asset—Your People

For associations, where mission-driven work often means high expectations and lean resources, burnout threatens everyone from junior employees to the C-suite. As leaders, we focus on delivering member value, but what happens when the people driving that mission—our staff and leadership—are overwhelmed and disengaged?

Join this engaging panel session featuring association executives who will share their real-world experiences, challenges, and successes in addressing burnout and supporting their teams. Topics will include strategies like normalizing real vacations with systems that ensure workflow continuity, integrating mental health resources into healthcare benefits, and leveraging anonymous surveys to uncover and address sensitive issues without stigma.

Whether you’re managing a remote, hybrid, or in-office team, you’ll leave with actionable steps to protect your most valuable resource—your people. By focusing on their well-being, you’ll retain top talent, enhance engagement, and build a workplace culture where everyone, including leadership, can thrive.
